Work set to start ‘soon’ on Blackburn's £1m Islamic centre

1,500 sq ft hall, I have no idea how many mussies that will hold, but whit parking spaces for only 22 cars, including four for disabled motorists and, eight motorbikes, and four bicycles. That will be nice for the local residents.

BUILDING work on a major open-to-all Islamic community centre in Blackburn is to begin ‘as soon as possible’.

The Naqshbandiyya Aslamiyya Spiritual Centre will be erected on vacant land at the corner of Pringle Street and Whittendale Crescent, Queen’s Park.

The 1,500 sq ft hall will cost £1 million, to be funded by the centre’s treasury and the community.

Blackburn with Darwen planning committee granted permission for the build which will allow more room for the growing numbers of worshippers at the mosque and attendants from the wider community.

The building will provide a space for quiet reflection, meditation and prayer and is hoped to house non-spiritual services to the borough such as work with young people, young offenders and disability groups.

Riaz Ahmad, centre chairman, said: “This is going to be a centre of spiritual excellence. Whether he is a Muslim or a non-Muslim, he is invited to learn about Islam here. We already have a very successful relationship working with both communities.”

The council received no objections to the project, although it was referred to the planning committee because it is of a ‘sensitive nature’.

Queen’s Park councillor, deputy mayor and Council of Mosques chairman Salim Mulla said: “I’m glad it’s gone through, it’s a centre that serves local Muslims well and we hope it will now include the wider community.”

Concerns about possible vandalism of the exterior led to suggestions of preventative measures such as anti-vandal paint and a protruding roof line.

However, Coun Mulla believes the owner and residents need not worry. He said: “There used to be a problem with vandalism in this particular area, but now this is not the case, crime in the area is down.”

The building will include energy-saving solar panels and parking spaces for 22 cars, including four for disabled motorists and, eight motorbikes, and four bicycles.

Chinese Kung Fu Expert Beats Up Men Who Came To Evict Him From Home

In China, perhaps even more than in Britain, a man's home is his castle.

So when 38-year-old Shen Jianzhong was faced with a mob of thugs trying to evict him, he asked himself what his hero, Bruce Lee, would do.

The answer, according to a video that has attracted more than two million hits on the Chinese internet, is turn to kung fu.

Pot peddlers 'forced teens to become Muslim'

Police have arrested members of a gang of Eastern European immigrants who used violence, intimidation and the promotion of Islam to control marijuana trafficking operations in the Neuchâtel mountains, cantonal justice authorities said on Thursday.

Three members were detained for questioning following the arrest of another ringleader in March, who remains in jail, the public prosecutor’s office said, while issuing an appeal to the public for more information to help permanently disband the group.

The gang, which calls itself the Jamahat, forced other young people to become Muslims as part of its operations, said officials.

The group peddled pot to adolescents from disadvantaged families in the cities of Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds, traditional watch-making centres, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

The group is made up of young Muslim men originally from such places as Chechnya, Afghanistan and Yugoslavia who recently stepped up their criminal activities, authorities said.

The group “is attempting to radicalize its activities by seeking to impose — by physical and psychological violence — a monopoly on the sale of marijuana in our region.”

Using menacing threats, the group’s members forced other young people to sign up for cell phone contracts and then seizing smart phones and other electronic gadgets obtained in the process.

These devices were then sold on the black market, largely in La Chaux-de-Fonds, authorities said.

Meanwhile, a large number of young people have run up large debts from phone bills running into the thousands of francs, according to the government information.

Some kids were forced to sign up for as many as seven different telecom contracts.

On top of this, victims were made to convert to Islam, often without knowing anything about the religion and in “blind submission” to the wishes of the Jamahat group, authorities said.

As part of the ongoing investigation, cantonal police are now seeking help from the public about the whereabouts of an underground parking lot, probably in La Chaux-de-Fonds, or the nearby region.

The facility is served by an elevator providing access to a basement with heating and different rooms with easy access for vehicles.

Anyone with information about such a structure is asked to call Neuchâtel police at 032  889 9000.

No longer in her Majesties service: British MP’s have sold their services to the soldiers of allah. These facilitators of evil have sold their soul to Satan himself:

Providing a Platform for Terror

by Samuel Westrop

If we really want to take an effective stand against extremism, we should not obsess over the extremists; rather, we should tackle those who facilitate, empower and legitimize extremism. The worst culprits are particular British Members of Parliament – elected officials whom we employ to safeguard our liberties and democratic rights but who betray these duties in favor of promoting the work of terror advocates. We have given terror and its apologists a platform, while we deny truth, reason and accountability a voice.

French Minister Admits Her Own Employee Came From Family of Jihadists and that Muslim Pupils Are Exchanging Decapitation Videos in Schools

First, some background. One of the curious features of French politics compared to other countries is the custom that senior politicians often serve as mayors of small towns too. The person involved here, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, was a minister under Sarkozy's government. She was one of those most prominent in resisting Sarkozy's supposed "drift to the right", which anyway was more rhetorical than real, and scotching proposals that her party, the mainstream right UMP, should hook up with the "far-right" UMP.

Sarkozy's government introduced a proposal to criminalise repeated visits to sites that gloried terrorism. Since coming to power, the Socialists have tried to kill this measure off but the UMP, of which Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet is a member, are still pursuing it. She spoke in the debate on the subject, saying that one "of [her] employees in the town council [Longjumeau (Esssonne)]", has been "married for twenty years to a man which engaged in a process of radicalisation":

She has four sons, among which the two eldest, engaged in the same process, are openly under surveillance; as for the third, he is 15 and is subject to the same influences as his brothers, who live with the father and give him the addresses of internet sites that show scenes of decapitation, done by men with large black swords, with repetitive music in the background.

It visits the same sites habitually and repeatedly. You could always say that it is better to put him under surveillance in case he does any more than that, but that fact is that today he is in danger, and nothing can be done about it.

Your arguments apply above all to young people about 20 years old engaged in a process of radicalisation; but these decapitation videos are being passed around in school classes.
Source: Rue89

Note she says that it is the 15-year-old in danger, but in truth it is the French people who have been endangered by the presence of these jihadist aliens on their soil. She says there is nothing that can be done about it, but would a French government hesitate to take children away from a militant "far-right" activist in the same circumstances?

Paedophile who went on run is jailed for a year

PAEDOPHILE Richard(mohamud) Fruin, who went on the run around the world for seven years, has been jailed for a year.

But because Fruin, 35, has spent the past six months in custody on remand he will be freed on parole within days.

Gloucester Crown Court heard that Fruin (pictured) was bailed after his arrest in 2005 but then flew to West Africa before travelling to other countries including Malaysia.

Child porn images found on his computers included some of a 14-year-old boy from Stroud, whom Fruin had been associating with.

Fruin, formerly of Stroud but now of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to 15 offences of making indecent images of children between January and November 2005.

As well as the 12-month jail term, Fruin must sign the sex offender register for ten years.

Newham council officers have recommended that councillors reject controversial plans for a socalled mega mosque in West Ham.

At 29,227 square metres the complex is more than three times the floorspace of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The plans to erect the Riverine Centre, also known as Abbey Mills Mosque put forward by trustees following the Tabilighi Jamaat movement, are due to be heard by the Strategic Development Committee at Newham Council on Wednesday (December 5) of next week.

At 29,227 square metres the complex is more than three times the floorspace of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The development includes a segregated space for nearly 2,000 women, a library, dining hall, visitors’ centre, eight flats for imams and guests, along with tennis courts, a garden, and a riverside walk along Abbey Creek.

The former industrial land at the end of Canning Road is one of 10 sites listed for strategic development by Newham Council. Officers are arguing that the mosque plans are not in line with the council’s core strategy to create a new town centre for mixed use around West Ham Station.

The strategy states that any faith must not dominate the use or scale of the 6.3 hectare site overlooking the historic Abbey Mills pumping station and Canary Wharf.

The strategy also states that the site should provide a mix of residential and retail uses.

Previous plans for a mosque on the site included retail units but mosque trustees said these were dropped following consultation with the Muslim community.

About 3,000 worshippers a week currently use facilities at the site.

About 264 parking spaces would be provided compared with the 300 current parking spaces.

The meeting will be held at the Main Hall at the Old Town Hall in Stratford.

French Cardinal: "The Christians are Afraid" - Priest Spat on in Metro Because He Wore Cross

French society is "dying of spiritual thirst" and "an incredible expectation" was apparent in the youth, said Philippe Barbarin, archbishop of Lyon and Primate of the Gauls, yesterday in the Vatican. The cardinal made a sombre assessment of the faith of Catholics, of whom 4% - 5% are practising. He referred to information "that there are three times more young Muslims in the mosque on Friday than Catholics at mass on Sunday". He urged Catholics to be "humble, passionate, intrepid" in their faith.

"Why does our society react furiously to the words of a bishop," he also asked, referring to himself, criticised for an interview implying that homosexual marriage could open the path to polygamy and incest. According to him, antisemitism and islamophobia are growing along with hostility to Christianity:
"In some districts, the Christians are afraid . A priest was spat on in the metro because of the crucifix he was wearing," he revealed.

French Cemeteries Hit by New Anti-Semitic Attacks

Police arrested two men suspected of digging up two corpses

City Building Also Vandalized Outside Paris

French police reportedly are investigating fresh acts of vandalism in two Jewish cemeteries and a municipal building.

On Monday in Paris, police arrested two men suspected of digging up two corpses at the Pantin cemetery, according to a statement from the municipality. They were found to be in possession of a number of human teeth and are suspected of being gravediggers, the statement read.

In Avignon near Marseille, two plaques on the Jewish cemetery’s wall were bludgeoned on Nov. 22, according to 20minutes, a French news site. The plaques had been repaired from being smashed on Oct. 8. One plaque read “Jewish cemetery” and the other had a Star of David.

Olivier Tainturier, director general of the local municipality of Vaucluse, said his office was “planning to install video surveillance.”

The previous evening, “pro-Palestinian, anti-Semitic texts against Israel and the police” were discovered on the municipal theater of Neuilly-sur-Seine, a western suburb of Paris, according to the French television channel BFM. The report did not say what was spray-painted.

Jean-Christophe Fromantin, a deputy mayor, filed a complaint with police and had the graffiti, which he called “odious,” removed by the end of the week. A practicing Catholic, Fromantin has declared that the “return of the Jewish people to Israel was a miracle.”

Also Monday, SPCJ, the security unit of France’s Jewish communities, praised French authorities’ handling of the prosecution of a university student studying Islamic studies who threatened to start “another Shoah” in an email to a Jewish professor.

On Nov. 15, a court in Aix-en-Provence handed the unnamed man a one-year suspended sentence plus two years of probation.

In an email sent March 19, the day that a Muslim extremist killed four Jews in Toulouse, the man wrote to a Jewish professor of Hebrew and Jewish studies at the University of Provence, “When will you stop making us swallow your tragicomedies, the latest this morning? I don’t like taking orders and even less so from a Jew. That’s enough now or I will make another Shoah.”

Bulgarian Radical Islam Trial Continues amid Renewed Protests

The trial against 13 Bulgarian Muslim religious leaders for preaching radical Islam continues Wednesday at the Pazardzhik District Court.

Bulgaria: Bulgarian Radical Islam Trial Continues amid Renewed Protests

The Wednesday hearing is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and is expected to be accompanied by a protest rally scheduled by nationalist party VMRO-BND.

The demonstration is to start at 8:30 in front of the Pazardzhik Municipality and end opposite the Courthouse in the southern Bulgarian city.

The rally protests the alleged pressure exercised by men in black robes and burqa-clad women standing outside the court.

The demonstration expects support from a number of other nationalist organizations.

Local police plan to implement enhanced security measures and seal off the area, according to reports of the Interior Ministry, as cited by Darik radio.

The previous court hearing in end-October was accompanied by a rally attended by over 500 people, who demanded that the court be provided a pressure-free environment.

Parallel protests were staged by marginal nationalist parties Ataka and National Front for Salvation of Bulgaria.

All court hearings of the trial have been accompanied by silent demonstrations of Muslims, except for the last one, when the Muslim protesters dispersed due to the counter-protest.

During Wednesday's court hearing, three confidential witnesses codenamed 002, 004, and 005, will testify.

The Pazardzhik-based court has already examined 28 non-confidential witnesses and one protected witness.

The trial against the 13 members of the Al Waqf-Al Islami organization's local branch was launched on September 18.

The suspects have been charged with preaching an undemocratic ideology and seeking to impose Sharia law, with leading and participating in an unregistered religious entity preaching an undemocratic ideology and with preaching religious intolerance.

According to the indictment, the defendants built their belief systems in line with elements of Salafism, which they presented in Bulgaria in a radical version in the period March 2008 – October 6, 2010.

All suspects have pleaded not guilty.

Few would shed tears if Britain barred Anjem Choudary from returning

Britain’s best known Islamist, Anjem Choudary, is planning to hold a conference in Pakistan on Friday where, among other things, he will issue a fatwa on Malala Yousafzai. She is the schoolgirl from Pakistan’s Taliban-controlled tribal areas who was shot in the head for defying the terrorist group by demanding an education. Yousafzai survived the attempted assassination and was later flow to Birmingham for specialist medical treatment (the bill is being picked up by the Pakistani government).

Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary speaks to a group of demonstrators. Picture: Getty

Choudary plans to hold his conference – ‘Shariah for Pakistan’ – at the Red Mosque in Islamabad which was the scene of a notorious standoff in 2007. Radical students of the mosque had begun imposing vigilante justice in surrounding neighbourhoods: harassing women, kidnapping foreigners, and burning down music stores. The government was forced to confront it in a standoff that became a Pakistani version of the Waco siege.

Remarkably, even the ultra-conservative authorities of the mosque have now sought to distance themselves from Choudary. A spokesman told Pakistan’s The News:

The whole mosque administration condemns the inflammatory statements used by this group, clearly seeking publicity. We are not aware of any conference in the mosque on 30th November and it’s for the government of Pakistan to take action [against] anyone who enters Pakistan.

The mosque’s leader also described Choudary’s views as ‘wrong’ and argued ‘people like him create problems for Muslims in Europe and Pakistan.’ Along with the fatwa on Malala Yousafzai, Choudary also wants to issue a fatwa on the current President, Asif Zardari, and intends to brand Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the country’s founder, a ‘traitor of Islam.’

There are calls to ban Choudary from entering the country. A columnist for the Express Tribune, Vaqas Asghar, expressed his exasperation at the way Choudary has been able to live off benefits for years while spouting his bilious views. ‘To thank the British government for putting a roof over the heads of his six-member family,’ Asghar writes:

He routinely makes controversial statements such as demanding the burka be made compulsory for all British women, Muslim or not, and has proclaimed himself the head of Britain’s ‘Shariah Court’ …More worryingly though, Mr Choudary has referred to the 9/11 hijackers as “magnificent martyrs”, he has refused to condemn numerous terrorist acts and has said non-Muslims cannot be considered innocents in the context of being victims of terrorism.

British authorities have consistently warned of the threat extremists in Pakistan pose to the security of our country. Two of the 7/7 bombers trained there, and scores of thwarted plots are also known to have originated in the country’s tribal areas. But, Pakistani authorities have also long complained of the converse – British Muslims contributing to the destabilisation of their country. Choudary’s conference demonstrates the veracity of that belief.

Asghar notes that Choudary chose ‘to live in a “pagan” land, abuse its trust and defy its laws…[because he] knows there will be no consequences.’ He couldn’t be more right. When Omar Bakri left Britain shortly after 7/7 after abusing our hospitality for years he was barred from returning and was briefly arrested by the Lebanese authorities. I suspect few would shed any tears if Choudary and his cohorts were to share the same fate as their spiritual leader.

D-Day looms for decision over socalled mega mosque in West Ham

D-Day is looming for plans by a Muslim movement to build a socalled mega-mosque in West Ham holding more than 9,000 worshippers.

It is believed Newham council officers will recommend that councillors reject the controversial proposals for the Riverine Centre, also known as Abbey Mills Mosque, put forward by Tabilighi Jamaat.

The plans to erect the complex, which at 29,227 square metres is more than three times the floorspace of St Paul’s Cathedral, are due to be heard by Strategic Development Committee at Newham Council on Wednesday of next week (December 5). A report prepared for the meeting is expected to appear on the council’s online meeting calendar this evening.

The development includes a segregated space for nearly 2,000 women, a library, dining hall, visitors centre, eight flats for imams and guests, along with tennis pitches, a garden, and a riverside walk along Abbey Creek. Around 264 parking spaces would be provided.

The former industrial land at the end of Canning Road is one of ten sites listed for strategic development by Newham Council. The council’s core strategy set out plans for developments on the site to create a new town centre for mixed use around West Ham Station.

It states that any faith must not dominate the use or scale of the 6.3 hectare site overlooking the historic Abbey Mills pumping station and Canary Wharf.

The council’s core strategy also states that the site should provide a mix of residential and retail uses.

Previous plans for a mosque on the site included retail units but mosque trustees said these were dropped following consultation with the Muslim community.

Around 3,000 worshippers a week currently use facilities at the site, which has around 300 car parking spaces.

The meeting will be held at the Main Hall at the Old Town Hall in Stratford.

'I'm not a suicide bomber...I was just bragging' alleged terrorist ringleader tells court

An alleged ringleader of a group planning a suicide bomb plot insisted today he only pretended to be preparing an attack.

Irfan Naseer, 31, told the trial at Woolwich Crown Crown he was "bragging" when he was secretly recorded by police talking about making bombs.

He said this was a reaction to being threatened following suspicions in his community in Birmingham that he was an agent for ISI, the Pakistani secret service.

Naseer said his false claims were part of a scam against others alleged to be involved in the plot.

He told the jury he tried to persuade them to invest in a shop which they thought was for making bombs, when he actually planned to go abroad with their cash.

Naseer, along with Irfan Khalid and Ashik Ali, both 27, are on trial accused of being central figures in an alleged extremist plot.

Jonathan Whitfield QC, defending, described Naseer as a "big fellow", and the defendant told the jury he weighed 23 stone.

Mr Whitfield questioned him about his time in Pakistan, where he is accused of training in terrorism in 2009 and 2010.

He asked: "Were you running up and down the mountains with weapons?"

Naseer replied: "No, I wasn't."

Mr Whitfield went on: "The Crown say because you couldn't do it they stuck you in the school and taught you how to make bombs."

Naseer said: "That isn't true."

All three defendants are accused of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts, which they deny.

Naseer is accused of five counts of the offence, Khalid four and Ali three, all between Christmas Day 2010 and September 19, 2011.

For Naseer, from Sparkhill, Khalid, from Sparkbrook, and Ali, from Balsall Heath, all in Birmingham, this is alleged to have included planning a bombing campaign, collecting money for terrorism and recruiting others for terrorism.

Naseer and Khalid are also accused of travelling to Pakistan for training in terrorism, and it is alleged that Naseer also helped others to travel to the country for the same purpose.

While in Pakistan, prosecutors claim Naseer and Khalid received training in how to use weapons and how to make bombs and poisons, and made suicide videos while they were there.

After they returned to Britain it is claimed the group then began trying to make home-made bombs, using a flat in Sparkbrook as their base.

The group are also accused of making bogus charity collections in Birmingham for Muslim Aid as well as a local Muslim centre.

The trial continues.

Muslim parents are being told not to allow their children to eat meat at schools

The call comes amid fears by Lancashire Council of Mosques that LCC’s latest suppliers of Halal products are not accredited by a certifying organisation that is in line with the Halal criteria adopted by the LCM in 2007.

Representatives from LCM visited one of the county’s suppliers in the past, and were alarmed to discover a non-Muslim man slaughtering birds which were then labelled Halal.

A statement issued by the council said: “There have been several flaws in the past in the certificates provided by LCC. We strongly feel that the LCC is doing a great injustice to the Muslim community and young Muslim children by feeding them meat and chicken which have not been endorsed by the LCM.

Muslim children in their thousands have been victims of this foul play in the past and we will not let this happen again.”

County council leader Geoff Driver, said: “It is disappointing that Lancashire Council of Mosques should make these misleading claims. We are 100 per cent certain that our new suppliers will provide fully-accredited Halal food that meets stringent food safety standards.

“We understand from the Food Standards Agency, which consults with national Muslim bodies, that there are a number of acceptable Halal certifying agencies. All of our suppliers’ products are certified by such agencies.

“We are determined to make sure that Muslim children and young people in our schools are provided with Halal meals that are nutritious, healthy and safe.”

Protestors plan Spalding march

Protesters who gathered in Boston to highlight problems with immigration have vowed the next stop will be Spalding.

More than 300 people attended the protest last Saturday, some holding banners such as ‘Free Us From The Shackles of Europe’ and ‘Get Back Our Country’.

Now the Boston Protest Group have bowed to pressure from residents in Spalding to hold an event in the town next year.

Organiser Dean Everitt said: “We are in the very early stages of arranging things but are looking at March. There have been several requests for us to do it and it’s time to come to Spalding now.

“Then if the Government and councils still won’t listen to us, we’ll take it to Westminster.”

Mr Everitt said he was delighted with the turnout in Boston, which was a static protest. He said: “It was a peaceful protest. There was no trouble at all.

“We even had a migrant worker in the crowd talking to protestors – it was a really good atmosphere.”

The protest was planned for last year but was cancelled after the borough council agreed to set up a task force.

A report on population change was published as a result, but campaigners said it had “not gone far enough” and the Government still needed to listen.

Protestors are planning a march in Spalding and Mr Everitt believes it can’t come soon enough.

Mr Everitt, said: “I am a landworker and it’s almost impossible for an English man to get work now.

“Migrant workers can afford 16-hour contacts on minimum wage and then be laid off for a day because several of them live in a house together.

“When they are out of work they gather in town centres drinking on the streets which upsets many people.

“The days of time and a half for overtime have gone – companies are making big bucks out of it.

“In 10 years time when our kids are looking for jobs there will be none.

“We need full-time jobs and until this is addressed we will keep raising awareness about it.

”Councils and the Government must pull together to look after our towns.”

Nick Worth, deputy leader of South Holland District Council, attended one of many scrutiny committee meetings in Boston to give input on the situation in Spalding.

He said: “I don’t think migrants cause that much of a problem in the Spalding area, but this is a democracy and so if campaigners want to come here and have a peaceful protest that’s fine.

“However, we would hope they speak to us and the police first so arrangements can be made for it to go off safely.”

'Radical' Muslim Cleric Abu Usamah's Brunel University Speech Prompts Student Protest

Students at a London University have organised a protest against the planned appearance of a Muslim cleric, who has previously been accused of advocating for the murder of homosexuals.

Abu Usamah Adh Dhahabi is to appear at Brunel University as part of Legends Week, organised by the Brunel Islamic Society, on Tuesday. He is to deliver a talk on Aisha, one of Muhammed's wives.

abu usamah

Promise Phillips, president of the Union of Brunel Students (UBS), confirmed a one-hour long "peaceful protest" would be taking place on the day but said the speech would continue to go ahead.

"The UBS is aware of the visit to speak next week from Abu Usamah, and is aware of controversial comments attributed to him and the challenges these bring," he said.

"The UBS works to ensure all speakers invited onto campus are authorised, have a clear understanding of the policy umbrella under which they are required to behave, and that the commitment to Freedom of Speech is balanced by Equality and Diversity Policies.

"The UBS further maintains a No Platform Policy and each speaker invited onto campus is assessed to ensure that this policy is not breached," he added.

"In this case, the UBS has risk assessed this visit and is putting in place appropriate measures. We are working with our Islamic Society who are confident that the subject matter of the speech sits within our equality guidelines."

Lodger jailed after raping young girl

Ahmed Shirinzoy was jailed for rape. Picture: Met PoliceA rapist who attacked a 12-year-old girl has today been jailed for 14 years.

Ahmed Shirinzoy, attacked the victim at an address in Hayes. He had claimed that he had visited a friend who had given him a spiked drink, causing memory loss.

The 22-year-old was sentenced to 14 years in prison after he was convicted of two counts of rape last month following a trial at Isleworth Crown Court

The court heard that on May 29 Shirinzoy was lodging at the address when his victim returned home.

On the pretext he wanted to ‘borrow’ her families vacuum cleaner, Shirinzoy approached the girl, made advances towards her before punching her several times and then raping her.

Following her ordeal, the child managed to run away and raise the alarm. Police were called and Shirinzoy was arrested a short time later at the address.

Toxicology tests later disproved Shirinzoy’s defence of memory loss, as did DNA evidence taken from his victim.

Detective Constable Lucy Mawdsley, said: “Shirinzoy is quite obviously a predatory sex offender who subjected his victim - a child - to the most horrendous of ordeals.

“I would like to pay tribute to this young girl who was incredibly brave and courageous in reporting the rape to the police and having the strength to give evidence against.”

UK Muslims All Live on Benefits': Asian Peer Baroness Flather Wades into Tory Votes Row

Former Conservative grandee Baroness Flather has sparked outrage by claiming that all Muslims in Britain live on benefits.

The Mail on Sunday claimed that the cross-bench peer endorsed comments reportedly made by the man recently appointed by David Cameron to deliver victory at the 2015 General Election.

Flather said: "I don't condone swearing but Lynton [Crosby] is right to say it is pointless for the Conservaties to chase Muslims. They are all on benefits and all vote Labour."

Crosby led Boris Johnson's two election campaigns for mayor of London. A hard-boiled Australian, it was reported that one piece of advice he gave Johnson was not to canvas the votes of "f***ing Muslims".

Sources close to Crosby insisted it was not a racist remark but just typical of Crosby's robust antipodean style.

Opponents slammed Flather and Labour MP Michael Dugher called on her to apologise.

Baroness Flather was the first Asian woman to receive a peerage and caused a stir by appearing the House of Lords dressed in a sari following her investiture in 1986. But the Baroness of Windsor and Maidenhead is no friend of political correctness.

Birmingham drug smuggling gang member jailed for 16 years

Nadeem Aslam, from Moseley, is caged for 16 years for part played in £12million drug smuggling operation

Three smugglers have been jailed for a total of 24 years after one of the biggest ever seizures of drugs at a busy UK port.

The men from Birmingham attempted to import £12 million-worth of heroin which would have brought misery to the city’s streets.

Mohammed Jabber Khan and Manjinder Thethy were jailed for four years for drugs offencesNadeem Aslam was jailed for 16 years

Nadeem Aslam, 32, of Trafalgar Road, Moseley, who was involved in a plot to sneak the huge consignment into Birmingham under the floorboards of a lorry has been jailed for 16 years.

Mohammed Khan, 35, from Shawsdale Road, Buckland End, and Manjinder Thethy, 34, from George Street, Handsworth, had been earlier jailed for four years each after admitting attempting to import a class A drug.

Aslam had been found guilty in May of conspiracy to import the drug by a jury at Birmingham Crown Court.
An earlier trial had to be aborted after a female juror, who had allegedly been drinking, fell asleep.
She was subsequently fined £250 for contempt.

Rotherham man in drug-pushing case challenges convictions

Omar Sadique was arrested after detectives smashed a drug supply organisation near Sittingbourne.

He was convicted at Maidstone Crown Court in February of assisting in the supply of class A and B drugs and conspiracy to supply cocaine.

But the 30-year-old, of Regent Street, Kimberworth, was given the go-ahead for a full appeal hearing, after his lawyers argued his convictions were “unsafe”.

The prosecution case at trial was that Sadique, through a business he owned and ran, sold chemicals to the Kent gang which were then used as cutting agents to 'bulk out' illicit drugs.

Sadique denied any wrongdoing, but was found guilty of the offences following a five-week trial with a number of other defendants.

His lawyers now argue his convictions should be overturned by the Appeal Court, because of legal issues relating to the validity of the charges that were brought against him.

Saying that careful consideration needed to be given to the case, Lord Justice Laws ordered there should be a day-long hearing of Sadique’s case — before three senior judges — at an unspecified later date.

45% of Saudi children face family abuse

Nearly 45 per cent of Saudi Arabia’s children are suffering from abuse and violence at home and this should prompt authorities to take urgent action, a prominent female Saudi psychiatrist was reported on Sunday as saying.

The child intelligence centre, a private agency based in the western Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah, discovered nearly 500 child abuse cases in local families in 2011, a sharp increase over the previous year’s 292 cases, the centre’s director, Sana Al Huwaili, told the Saudi Arabic language daily Alriyadh.

“Child abuse in Saudi Arabia is steadily rising…….figures by the Ministry of Social Affairs show that nearly 45 per cent of the Kingdom’s children are suffering from abuse and violence by their families,” she said.

“This worsening problem should prompt the authorities and all other concerned parties to take urgent action through an extensive awareness and education campaign targeting all segments of the society…we should also focus our efforts on the education authorities as many students undergo verbal and physical abuse at school and home.”

Huwaili said parents in Saudi Arabia, with a population of around 28 million, need to change their behavior towards their children.

“They just need to learn how to deal with their children whether they are troublesome or creative…parents’ behavior reflects positively or negative on their children…in the negative case, it could delay the child’s growth including intelligence, talking and understanding….it could also lead to an aggressive behavior by the child such as damaging property, deliberate harming of others, fleeing home, sleeping problems, anxiety, depression, guilt and embarrassment, and weak self-confidence….all these cases could push children to indulge in crime.”

Here is something you don't see every day

Muslims are preparing to launch a petition demanding that the planning application for the mosque be refused.

Yes I was shocked too until I seen the reason

"The site is not suitable because it is not big enough," they said.

DISAFFECTED Muslims are preparing to launch a petition to topple the high-flying businessman leading the bid for a Purley mosque if the site in question is refused on appeal.

A decision on whether to grant permission for an Islamic centre in Russell Hill Place is due in the next few weeks after charity Purley Islamic Community Centre (PICC) lodged an appeal with the planning inspectorate.

But the bid has been thrown into disarray with some of PICC's own members contacting the inspectorate demanding it be refused, the Advertiser has learned.

This, they say, is because the planning application for the mosque has been inaccurate from the outset.

After discovering the dissent, Monir Mohammed, trustee of PICC, circulated the names of the objectors in an e-mail to members of the Muslim community.

However, one of the recipients, who forwarded the e-mail to the Advertiser, said about "95 per cent" of those who donated money towards PICC's almost £200,000 pot are against the Russell Hill Place site.

"The site is not suitable because it is not big enough," they said.

"There are about 300 Muslim families in Purley, which make up about 1,000 people, and it only stated it would need to serve about 150 in the planning proposal.

How Christians and Muslims can marry – the official guide

http://lstcccme.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/muslim-christian.jpgChristian pastors and Muslim imams have come together to draw up guidelines detailing advice on how to deal with inter-faith marriages.

Although marrying between faiths is entirely legal in Britain, couples often face resistance and hostility, both from family members and religious leaders. Occasionally both Muslims and Christians feel pressure to convert to another's faith in order to avoid fallouts and ostracism.

The new guidelines by the Christian-Muslim forum reinforce the need for religious leaders to accept inter-faith marriages and warn that no one should ever feel forced to convert. The publication of the document, which will receive a high-profile launch at Westminster Abbey today, is significant because those supporting it include imams from the more orthodox Islamic schools of thought and evangelical Christians.

Imam Hussain was among 73 Muslims slaughtered in Iraq more than 1,300 years ago.Men, women and children chanted as they took part in the hour-long march which made its way way from Victoria Place, along Commercial Street and back up Stow Hill.

The marchers also repeatedly placed their hands against their chest as they paraded through the city while some carried flags and banners.

The marchers stopped along Commercial Street for a group of men to perform chants while beating their hands against their chests.

Sajan Karunakaran denies sexual assault charge at Yardley Wood nursing home

Sajan KarunakaranA nurse has been suspended following allegations that he groped a female colleague at a care home during a night shift.

Sajan Karunakaran, who is in his 30s, worked at Bramley Court Residential Nursing Home, Yardley Wood, Birmingham, until the alleged incident in July.

He was arrested on site and suspended by his bosses pending an investigation.

Mr Karunakaran was later charged with sexual assault.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) have imposed an interim suspension for 18 months on Mr Karunakaran, meaning he cannot work as a nurse anywhere else during that period.

He is due to stand trial over the incident at Birmingham Crown Court on January 30 next year.

The panel’s chair Miriam Karp, said: “We decided that the pending prosecutions gave cause for concern.

“The panel was mindful of the fact that the NMC had not produced any evidence of the underlying facts of the allegation. However, we are of the view that the fact that the evidence is sufficiently compelling for the registrant to have been charged with sexual assault by the Crown Prosecution Service was an important factor in our deliberations.

“The charge was serious in nature and raised issues not only of public protection but also the wider public interest. In the panel’s judgement, public confidence in the profession would be undermined if no order was made in respect of a registrant awaiting trial.”

Mr Karunakaran did not attend the NMC hearing which was held on November 6.

His solicitor Gareth Beynon wrote to the panel saying his client could not make it due to ‘domestic and financial issues’.

It also stated that Mr Karunakaran denied the sexual assault charge and had collected numerous positive character references from colleagues.

In the letter Mr Beynon asked the panel not to impose an interim suspension.

Suspension

He stated his client had no intention of gaining work as a nurse until his trial had finished and that if he was acquitted he did not want a suspension on his nursing record.

The panel dismissed these pleas saying that it was not practical to allow Mr Karunakaran to work even under strict conditions.

“We considered conditions of practice but decided the nature of the allegation was such that no conditions could be formulated at this stage which would adequately protect the public and safeguard the public interest,” added Mrs Karp. “Therefore, an interim suspension order is both necessary and proportionate.”

Converting Denmark Into a Muslim Country

"We must not have a Denmark where Danish traditions disappear as soon as there is a Muslim majority." -- Tom Behnke, Spokesman, Danish Conservative Party

Muslim immigrants in a town near Copenhagen have forced the cancellation of traditional Christmas displays this year even while spending lavishly on the Islamic Eid celebration marking the end of Ramadan.

The controversy has escalated into an angry nationwide debate over the role of Islam in post-Christian Denmark, where a burgeoning Muslim population is becoming increasingly assertive in imposing its will on a wide range of social and civic issues.

The latest dust-up involves the Egedalsvænget housing complex in Kokkedal, a town situated some 30 kilometers (20 miles) north of Copenhagen where Arab and Turkish immigrants now comprise more than half the total population.

At a recent meeting of the Egedalsvænget tenants' association, the Muslim majority on the Board of Directors refused to authorize spending 7,000 Danish kroner ($1,200) for the community's annual Christmas event.

The vote came shortly after the same Board of Directors authorized spending 60,000 kroner ($10,000) on a large communal celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid. Five out of nine of the board members are Muslims.

A Muslim member of the board, Ismail Mestasi, defended the decision to cancel the Christmas tree and party, arguing that no one had offered to organize the celebration. "No one wanted to take on the responsibility. A vote was taken and it ended as it ended. I don't celebrate Christmas, but I was asked to get the tree. And I didn't want to." But a non-Muslim board member, Karin Leegaard Hansen, refuted him, saying that she herself had offered to take on the responsibility, but that she was overruled by the Muslim board members.

The dispute, which is the latest in an ever-growing list of Muslim-related controversies in Denmark, was first reported by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) on November 7. Since then, the issue has snowballed into a national scandal and has become a key topic for public debate in the Danish media as well as in political circles.

A spokesman for the Danish Conservative Party, Tom Behnke, says he fears there are people who want to convert Denmark into a Muslim country. In an interview with DR News, Behnke said: "I think it is deeply alarming that our integration efforts are so ineffective that the moment there is a Muslim majority, we do away with good-old Danish traditions and introduce Muslim traditions instead. We are living in Denmark, and people have to adapt to the situation that applies here."

When asked whether housing associations with a Muslim minority should sponsor an Eid party, Behnke replied: "We have to remember that in the past, an Eid festival was the Muslims' victory celebration after they had slaughtered the Christians, so I don't know how much there is to celebrate in Denmark. Still, people should be allowed to celebrate whatever festivals they want to, but they also must respect the festivals in the country they have come to."

Behnke added: "There is no point in wanting to convert Denmark into a Muslim country because you yourself have a Muslim background. That must never happen. On the contrary, we must have mutual respect for one another. This is a lack of respect for Danish traditions and culture. We must not have a Denmark where Danish traditions disappear as soon as there is a Muslim majority."

Danish police are now investigating an accusation of racism made against the Muslim board members. In an interview with the Copenhagen Post, police spokesperson Karsten Egtved said: "It needs to be determined to what extent the decision by the Muslim members of the board to first vote 'yes' to a 60,000 kroner Eid party, then 'no' to a 7,000 kroner Christmas tree to celebrate Christian traditions, violates laws by discriminating against Christians and their traditions."

The Christmas tree controversy took an ominous new twist on November 12, when a van carrying two journalists from TV2 News was attacked by 25 masked hoodlums. The journalists had gone to the Egedalsvænget housing complex to film a report about the story, but immediately upon their arrival their van was bombarded with bricks and cobblestones. The attackers destroyed the van and chased the hapless journalists out of the area.

According to TV2, the perpetrators were Muslim youths who were seeking to silence media coverage of the Christmas tree dispute.

Local police have sided with the Muslim attackers by blaming the journalists for sending a television truck into the area in the first place. Dan Houtved of the North Zealand Police told BT News that he would not have gone there had he been a journalist with TV2. "You choose to enter a tense area. One can argue about whether it is wise. I probably would not have done it."

Houtved is referring to the growing number of no-go zones in suburbs of Copenhagen and other Danish cities that are increasingly becoming autonomous enclaves ruled by Muslim youth gangs. They are areas where Danish police fear to tread. (See news video here about how the Danish government is bribing native Danes to get them to live in immigrant neighborhoods.)

In March, for example, more than 140 Muslim gang members raided a courthouse where two fellow Muslims were being tried for attempted murder.

The Muslims -- all members of criminal street gangs that have taken over large parts of Danish towns and cities -- were wearing masks and bullet-proof vests and throwing rocks and bottles as they tried to force their way into the district courthouse in Glostrup, a heavily Islamized suburb of Copenhagen, on March 6.
Police used batons and pepper spray to fend off the gang members, who were armed with an arsenal of 20 different types of weapons, including crowbars, darts, hammers, knives, screwdrivers and wooden clubs.

The trial in Glostrup involved two Pakistani immigrants accused of shooting and attempting to murder two fellow Muslims who belong to a rival gang. The shooting was related to an escalating turf war between rival Muslim gangs from the Værebroparken housing estate in Bagsværd, a suburb of Copenhagen, and Nivå and Kokkedal in northern Zealand. Immigrant gangs are believed to be responsible for at least 50 shootings in and around Copenhagen during 2012.

The immigrant gangs are involved in countless criminal activities, including drug trafficking, illegal weapons smuggling, extortion, human trafficking, robbery, prostitution, automobile theft, racketeering and murder.
Many of the gang members are ethnic Arabs, Bosnians, Turks and Somalians. They also include Iraqis, Moroccans, Palestinians and Pakistanis.

Over the past several years, the immigrant gangs have proliferated geographically across all of Denmark. The gangs have spread south from Copenhagen to the rest of Zealand, from inner Nørrebro, to the suburbs Ishøj, Greve, and on to Køge. The gangs are also active in Albertslund, Herlev, Hillerød, Høje Gladsaxe, Hundige, Roskilde and Skovlunde, among many Danish localities.

Danish authorities estimate that each year more than 700 immigrants between the ages of 18 and 25 are choosing crime as a permanent career by joining gangs such as Black Cobra, the Black Scorpions, the Bandidos, the Bloodz, the International Club, or any other of the more than 100 gangs that are now operating in Denmark.

In August, more than 80 Muslim gang members raided a hospital in Odense, the third-largest city in Denmark, in a failed attempt to kidnap a 26-year-old rival gang member who had previously been shot and stabbed at a shopping center in the Vollsmose district. Hospital police had to use weapons to prevent the angry mob from getting their hands on the shooting victim. An ambulance and four police cars were destroyed in the violence.

More recently, Muslim gangs have been extorting shops and bars in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, threatening local business owners with violence if they refuse to pay protection money for operating in "Muslim territory."

But some non-Muslims have refused to give in to the threats. Consider 67-year-old Jane Pedersen, the courageous owner of the Café Viking, a bar that has been the focus of repeated attacks by Muslim gangs because of her refusal to pay. Pedersen has set up a Facebook page called "No to Bullies, Yes to Beer," which has drawn national and international attention to her plight. (See here for a video produced by the politically correct BBC, which manages to report on Pedersen and Copenhagen's gang problem without once using the word "Muslim".)

In an interview with the Jyllands-Posten newspaper, Pedersen said: "Some guys came in here and told me that I have to pay to be in their area. I refused. I could be their grandmother, and it simply cannot be justified."

Spanish send an Algerian criminal to live in the UK... and there's nothing we can do about it

An Algerian-born career criminal suspected of a ‘marriage of convenience’ to a British citizen has been deported from Spain to the UK.

Police said Lazhari Zemouche had been arrested 92 times in Spain over the past 25 years for crimes from theft to robbery and had used a number of fake identities.

But because he had married in the UK before his latest crime spree in Spain, he was deported to London rather than to his native Algeria.

Stoning for adultery. Amputations for theft. Death for apostates. And second-class status for Christians and Jews. This is life under Sharia law, the Islamic system practiced in countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Great Britain.

Yes, Great Britain.

There are reportedly some 85 Sharia courts now operating there, with Islamic judges ruling on cases ranging from financial to marital disputes among British Muslims.

"We went into some proceedings and there were a couple of Islamic judges sitting up above the rest," said Alan Craig, who recently stepped down as leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance party. "And there was one Muslim woman who was suing for divorce."

BELGIUM BOOTS OUT UNEMPLOYED MIGRANTS

Antwerp Belgium

JOBLESS foreigners are being forcibly ejected from Belgium.(Ex).JOBLESS foreigners are being forcibly ejected from Belgium following a public outcry at a massive surge in immigration, it was revealed yesterday. Belgian authorities have introduced a law allowing the withdrawal of residency rights from any newcomers remaining unemployed for six months after arriving in the country. The crackdown is being seen as a huge turnaround for the country that is home to many EU institutions and was previously seen as one of the most welcoming nations in Europe for migrants.
Euro MP Derek Clark, the Ukip employment spokesman, said: “Amazingly the Belgians seem to have a better idea as to their own interests than we do. If they can do it to protect their taxpayers and welfare system, then why on earth can’t we?”
Many of the migrants being turfed out of Belgium are thought to have moved there from Spain in response to the worsening Spanish recession. Some are understood to have originally migrated to Spain from Latin America.

Paedophile Qamar Malik assaulted girl, aged six

A predatory paedophile who cruised Bradford’s streets hunting for young girls was today behind bars after he was found guilty of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl.

Car salesman Qamar Malik, 28, was also convicted by a jury yesterday of twice attempting to abduct a girl aged 12 in daylight.

When he was 16, Malik sexually assaulted three girls he met by chance in the street, dragging one down a snicket to molest her, the jury was told during the trial at Bradford Crown Court.

Malik, of Parsonage Road, West Bowling, Bradford, was yesterday remanded back into custody to await sentence by Judge Peter Benson who said it was “a very disturbing case” with “a big background”.

He warned Malik to expect a substantial prison sentence when he is brought back to court on January 15.

Judge Benson adjourned the case for the preparation of a report from the probation service that will assess the level of danger Malik poses to members of the public.

The judge told him: “You have a history of assaulting girls who are strangers in the street and I need the probation service to prepare a report to assess the level of risk you present.”

Malik, wearing a blue sports shirt, sat in the dock with his head bowed after the verdicts were delivered.

He was unanimously convicted of twice trying to abduct a 12-year-old girl from central Bradford in July.

The jury found him guilty by 11 to one majority verdicts of kidnapping the six-year-old girl on August 13 this year by unlawfully, and by force or fraud, taking or carrying her away and of sexual activity with the child by touching her chest and waist.

Both the girls were strangers to Malik, the court was told.

Prosecutor Rupert Doswell said Malik stopped his car near the 12-year-old girl, told her she was cute and asked her to sit in the vehicle.

Days later, he followed her in a car, beckoned her over and asked for her phone number.

The girl ran off and sought help from a woman passer-by outside the mosque on Newman Street, Bradford.

Weeks later, he pulled the six-year-old girl into a car, drove her around and molested her.

When Malik was 16, he dragged a 15-year-old girl into a snicket when she was on her paper round and indecently assaulted her.

In a second incident, he jumped on a girl walking to school in Manchester Road, knocked her down and sexually attacked her.

The third offence was on a woman over 16 who was grabbed from behind and groped The jury was told that Malik was warned by the police on August 3 this year that complaints had been made about him stopping his black Ford Focus next to young girls and telling them they were beautiful.

Carwash kingpin jailed over plan to flood North-East with heroin

Majid Khan

THE mastermind behind a plan to flood the North-East with heroin and cannabis was last night starting a sixteen-and-a-half-year prison sentence.

Majid Khan used his car wash business in Middlesbrough as a front for a multi-million pound plot to mass distribute drugs.

Incredibly, one of the men behind the nationwide scheme was already serving a 14 year sentence in jail.

Teesside Crown Court heard how that didn't prevent convicted drugs baron Imran Bashir helping to orchestrate the team.

Bashir brazenly discussed the evil plan during a prison visit when his wife used her mobile phone to host a conference call with Khan.

Although both men spoke perfectly good English, their conversations recorded by prison bosses were in mostly in Urdu and contained codes.

Although police recovered drugs worth £300,000 the court heard how the trade was worth millions.

Foster parents 'stigmatised and slandered’ for being members of Ukip

A couple had their three foster children taken away by a council on the grounds that their membership of the UK Independence Party meant that they supported “racist” policies.

The husband and wife, who have been fostering for nearly seven years, said they were made to feel like criminals when a social worker told them that their views on immigration made them unsuitable carers.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the couple said they feared that there was a black mark against their name and they would not be able to foster again.
Last night campaigners representing foster parents described the decision as “ridiculous” and warned that it could deter other prospective foster parents from volunteering.
Nigel Farage, the leader of Ukip, described the actions of Rotherham borough council as “a bloody outrage” and “political prejudice of the very worst kind”.
Tim Loughton, the former children’s minister, said: “I will be very concerned if decisions have been made about the children's future that were based on misguided political correctness around ethnic considerations.

Mr Hussain was arrested at the end of last month initially for statements on his Facebook group that left Oslo’s Jewish community feeling threatened.

His remarks resulted in Ola Elvestuen, Oslo city councillor for the Liberal Party (V), calling for talks with police over security at the synagogue.

Police subsequently posted guards outside the Israeli Embassy and the Jewish pre-school near the synagogue just over one week ago in connection with events in the Middle East.

27-year-old Mr Hussain, of Pakistani origin, has been held on remand for four weeks total. He is also indicted for issuing threats against two journalists, as well as threatening an expert witness during trial proceedings.

Today’s verdict quashes Borgarting Court of Appeal’s continued custody ruling. Court of Appeal judges will now have to hear Arslan Ubaydullah Maroof Hussain’s case anew.

However, police have asked for Mr Hussain to remain in custody until this has been effecuated.

George Galloway criticises Syrian opposition for not 'lifting a finger for jihad'

George Galloway has criticised opponents of the Syrian regime for not "lifting a finger for jihad" by challenging rulers in other countries including Saudi Arabia.

Sadly there will no fear of this mouth piece heading over there to do a bit of jihading

The Respect MP, who won a by-election to represent Bradford West in March, said he opposed critics of the Syrian regime because "their enemies are worse than them".
He questioned why there was no 'jihad' in other Arab countries when those opposing Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria, were "ready to spend an ocean of blood".
"What about their freedom in the other Arab countries?" he asked on an appearance on Al-Mayadeen, a Lebanese television station. "Are they ready to fight there? No, they are collaborating with these other Arab countries.
"It is just strange to me that they are ready to kill thousands, maybe tens of thousands, in Syria but they will not lift a finger for jihad in other Arab countries which are, and have always been, on the path of treason towards the Palestinian people.
"There are Arab countries where there is no freedom or liberty at all, which have one-family rule, who even give the name of their family to their country but there is no jihad in such countries.
